• Where: Bear Creek Greenbelt — 2800 S Estes St, Lakewood, CO 80227

  • Parking is available at the trailhead as well as across the street at the Lakewood Urban Parks offices.

• What to Bring: Water bottle, hat, work gloves, clothes you don't mind getting dirty. Other supplies will be provided.

Get ready for the return of Oktoberfest!

Festive Yard Games

To keep the fun going we will have cornhole, Giant Jenga, Hammerschlagen, and other fun games!

Pretzels

Grab a large XLVII’s Bakery pretzel or pretzel bites with cheese and of course the traditional mustard.

Food Truck

Mischief Pizza will be partying with us and offering a German inspired pizza special.

5pm Steinholding Competition - Official USSA Location

Have you been practicing your steinholding?

We will be hosting a state sanctioned competition. Filled, the 1-liter stein weighs approximately 5 pounds. There will be a men’s and women’s competition! We will kick it off at 5pm and compete with 12 people at a time. The Cost to enter our competition is $15. Participants will receive a USSA can koozie and a pint on us to celebrate your efforts.

The winners of our men’s and women’s competition will receive a LandLocked Ales 1/2 liter stein and a $25 gift card! They will also go on to compete in the state championship at Prost Brewing Company in Northglenn, CO, on October 17th, 2026!
